GUILFORD, CT — A Guilford business recently sold a $100,000 winning Powerball ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
A North Branford resident won the big prize after purchasing a ticket from the convenience store at the Shell gas station located at 1675 Boston Post Road.

Powerball is a multi-state game, and wagers cost $2. The minimum jackpot is $20 million and increases are determined based on sales in the current environment, the CT Lottery says on its website.
