2 Guilford Residents Graduate From Bates College

Congrats to the local students.

From Bates College: Bates College graduated 473 students from 39 states and 42 countries on May 27, 2018. Cumulatively, the Class of 2018 performed 82,000 hours of community service, exemplifying Bates' commitment to community learning and civic action.

Lucas Gillespie, of Guilford, Conn., graduated after majoring in history and minoring in philosophy at Bates. Gillespie, the son of Mr. John D. Gillespie and Ms. Andrea V. Borden of Guilford, Conn., is a 2012 graduate of Pomfret School.

Bennett Rollins, of Guilford, Conn., graduated after majoring in physics and minoring in mathematics at Bates. Rollins, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Douglas A. Rollins of Guilford, Conn., is a 2014 graduate of North Haven High School.
