2 Men Try and Entice Girl, 12, Into a Car: Guilford Police

Guilford police have shared a physical description of the suspects and the vehicle involved.

The Guilford Police Department is asking for your help in solving a suspicious person complaint involving two men allegedly trying to lure a 12-year-old girl into their car.

Police say the incident occurred between 3:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 11 on Union Street and State Street.

Police say an older white male and a young white male were in an older white sedan on Union Street acting suspiciously.

A vehicle reportedly drove up to a 12-year-old girl and the older male asked her if she wanted a ride, police said.

The girl declined the offer and the vehicle continued following her, and the older male repeatedly asked her she wanted a ride, police said.

The girl ended up changing her direction and the car stopped following her, police said.

The older white male is described as unshaven with a nasally voice. The younger white male was wearing a t-shirt and a wide brimmed hat. The vehicle was scratched up and had rust and dirt near the wheel wells.
