2024 Guilford Fair: Everything You Need To Know

Connecticut's second oldest agricultural fair will run from Sept. 20-22 in Guilford.

GUILFORD, CT — The 2024 Guilford Fairwill take place from Sept. 20-22 at the Guilford Fairgrounds, 111 Lovers Lane.

Established in 1859, the fair is held each year during the third full weekend in September. The fair moved to the Guilford Fairgrounds in 1969.

The fun-filled three-day event features rides, live music, food, activities and exhibits for all ages.

Musical Entertainment and Events

  • Hollywood Nights - The Bob Seger Experience will perform on Friday at 8:30 p.m.
  • On Saturday, Meet Loaf - The Ultimate Meat Loaf Tribute Band will take the stage, also at 8:30 p.m.
  • Closing out the live music will be Jordan Oaks, a Nashville recording artist, on Sunday at both 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

All acts are weather permitting and no refunds will be issued.

Besides live performances, the Guilford Fair provides entertainment for all ages.

The popular children’s zoo will be at the Guilford Fair for all three days, featuring more than 40 exotic and unusual animals.

The Flying Wallendas will perform all three days as part of the Guilford Fair Circus. There will also be the Antique Tractor Pull on Saturday, cattle show, spelling bee and other events for all ages.

On Sunday, there will be a donkey and mule show, Draft Oxen, performances by Hilby, The Skinny German Juggle Boy, racing pigs, and more.

Hours

  • Sept. 20: 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Sept. 21: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Sept. 22: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The free Guilford Fair Parade will take place on Sept. 21 at the Guilford Town Green.

Ticket Pricing

  • General admission: $15
  • Seniors 62 and older, and current military with ID: $10
  • Children age 11 and under: free
  • Three-day discount pass: $40

General admission includes all entertainment, exhibits and demonstrations. Rides and refreshments are extra.
ATMs will be available at the main entrance and inside.

Parking

  • There will be free parking and shuttle buses available at Exit 57 off I-95. Parking on-site at the Guilford Fairgrounds is $10. The shuttle schedule and more information can be found here.
