22nd Annual Youth & Family Services Teen Gift Card Drive Underway

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Youth & Family Services' Youth Board announced its 22nd Annual Teen Gift Card Collection is underway.

This year's event is in the Guilford Commons near Michael's Saturday, Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For those who can not make the event that day, Guilford Youth & Family Services has already begun accepting donations at its 36 Graves Ave., Guilford office.

The Teen Gift Card Drive directly benefits Guilford teens in need this holiday season. The Youth Board developed this collection, identifying the teen population as overlooked during many holiday gift drives for kids.

The Youth Board meets monthly throughout the school year to plan and implement programs and services that have a positive impact on the Guilford community. The Youth Board was designed to help bridge the gap between youth and adults in the community by providing an opportunity to share/ask questions, report on relevant events and assist in evaluation and assessment of current agency offerings.
