Affordable Housing Development Land Deal Public Hearing Is Feb. 4
The hearing is to get comments from the public on the possible sale to NeighborWorks New Horizons for an affordable housing development.
GUILFORD, CT — A public hearing on the possible sale of land for an affordable housing development will be held Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Nathanael B. Greene Community Center.
According to a notice from the Board of Selectmen, the public have the opportunity to sahre their comments on the possible sale to NeighborWorks New Horizons, of an "unimproved parcel of land" at 268 Whitfield Street and 41-45 Stonehouse Lane. The sale is per the terms outlined in the town's request for proposals for the site and land agreement, copies of which can be seen in the town clerk's office.
Residents are invited to attend and be heard, and, written and submitted comments will be put into the record of the meeting.
