GUILFORD, CT — Lake Quonnipaug in Guilford is closed until further notice due to Tuesday night's storm and the condition of the beachfront, according to an announcement on Wednesday from Guilford Parks & Recreation. Jacobs Beach is still open.

Storms moved through the area on Tuesday, bringing over 2 inches of rain to most of Guilford.
