GUILFORD, CT — Early voting is underway in Guilford ahead of the Aug. 11 Democratic primary.
The candidates are Gov. Ned Lamont and state Rep. Josh Elliott (D-88).
Only registered Democrats are eligible to vote. Individuals turning 18, becoming U.S. citizens or moving to Guilford may register to vote in person at the Registrars of Voters Office until noon on Aug. 10.
Early voting is taking place at Guilford Town Hall on the following schedule:
Under early voting rules, new electors who enroll by noon on any day during the early voting period may return the following day to vote. Those who enroll after noon must wait two days before voting.
Absentee ballots are also available through the Guilford Town Clerk's Office.
