Eastern Student AnaMaria Skarzynski of Guilford Interns at Chartwells

WILLIMANTIC, CT -- Eastern Connecticut State University student AnaMaria Skarzynski '19 of Guilford is interning with Eastern's food service provider, Chartwells, this spring 2019 semester. Her roles include building a marketing team as well as planning and promoting events. Skarzynski majors in Business Administration and Psychology.

Skarzynski reflected on the relevance of her internship. "I want to pursue marketing in the future," she said, "so everything I am learning here is beneficial."

With aspirations of a career in marketing, interning at Chartwells has allowed Skarzynski to put her advertising skills to the test.

She plans two to three events per week and promotes them through social media in hopes of getting students excited and involved. "I am passionate about marketing and enjoy putting on events."
