"From Tip-A-Cop to Holiday Gift Drives, Lucy is always the first to jump in and to be part of the team. She comes in early and stays late to make sure the job is done right. Through the pandemic, Lucy has continued to show up to work every day and make sure everyone in the agency is taken care of. When major incidents occur, Lucy is the first to plan for long term needs such as food and water for staff out on the roads. She is the consummate professional who handles confidential material like a bank vault, disgruntled members of the public with ease, and saves the town significant money with her bargain hunting from various vendors to get the best price. She is proactive in her role and is always looking for better ways to do her job, enhance the morale of the department and benefit the community. The Guilford Police Department is lucky to have Lucy Krauchick not only as part of our team, but as a leader who helps us all do our jobs better."
