Beer And Wine Approved On Guilford Green During The Craft Expo

GUILFORD, CT – Beer and wine will be allowed on the Town Green during the Craft Expo this summer from July 14-16.

The Board of Selectmen recently voted unanimously to allow the serving of booze at the expo.

The selectmen’s approval came with some conditions, which included that the only alcohol allowed would be beer and wine; that the police department would check the initial set-up of the event; and, that the vendor is responsible for removing empty bottles and cans – and not disposing them in the trash receptacles that surround the Green.
