Big Lottery Prize Sold In Guilford

GUILFORD, CT — A Guilford resident recently won $20,000 on a scratch ticket that was sold in town, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $20,000 on a 20X Cash 8th Edition scratch ticket that was sold at City Star Mart LLC at 500 Boston Post Road in Guilford, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
