GUILFORD, CT — Join The Bird Nest Gallery & Salon Suites, 25 Water Street, on Sunday, October 4, from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m., for an afternoon celebrating the joyful work of beloved Connecticut artists Brendan Loughlin and Lisa Miceli.
Hosted by Bird Nest owner Steven Uccello, the event will feature the artists’ work, opportunities to meet and talk with them, wine and light refreshments, and a special auction of one original work by each artist.
Loughlin, whose colorful and unmistakable work has helped “Paint Guilford!” for decades, will be making a rare appearance. Miceli, a plein air artist and instructor, will showcase her expressive Connecticut landscapes, seascapes, still lifes and flowers, including work inspired by her friendship and artistic collaboration with Loughlin.
100% of proceeds will benefit the Guilford Food Bank, supporting local residents experiencing food insecurity.
