This class is offered for ages 8+. Come create all these delicious items to go into your basket which you could choose to deliver to someone special or keep for yourself! They'll also get to sample the treats during class of course! One of our favorite traditions here is Booing the ones we love! Gianna and I are offering the chance to make Boo baskets this year! If you don’t know, Booing is when you leave a surprise on a friend/families doorstep throughout October! The cost for this 2 hour class, all supplies included is $50. All are welcome to make additional baskets for an additional fee of $20 each. The Guilford Seniors Annual Holiday &amp; Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, October 24, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Guilford Community Center, 32 Church Street.Our seniors have beautiful handmade holiday and everyday decorations and crafts, various sewn creations, jewelry, children’s intrigues, dog and cat toys and garments, as well as knitted and crocheted sweaters, hats, etc. Our popular gently used jewelry, books, and purse tables are expected to again be well stocked this year, as will our Baked Goods table.We have received some generous donations from our merchants, along with some beautiful gift baskets donated by several of our seniors and local businesses for our Chance Auction. A limited number of private vendors will join us to offer their special products. Breakfast and lunch will be prepared by the Kitchen staff and will be available at a reasonable cost.This is also an important fundraiser for our 55+ programs. You can help by attending and shopping, and by donating any gently used jewelry, purses, and books, which can be dropped off at the office any time, or baked goods and donations of cakes, cookies, pies, breads, and brownies, which can be dropped off at the office on Friday, October 23rd, or in the Guilford Room the morning of the fair.For more information about the fair, contact Guilford Seniors at 203-453-8068 and ask for Ruth.
