Cardboard Donations Needed For New Community Garden In Guilford

GUILFORD, CT — The Town of Guilford is seeking cardboard donations for the new Guilford community garden at Nut Plains Park.

The garden is currently under construction, and cardboard is needed to cover approximately 30 garden plots. The plot sizes are 20 feet by 20 feet and 10 feet by 20 feet.

Residents can drop off plain brown cardboard at the garden.

"Please, no glossy paper-covered boxes - they can only use plain cardboard on the soil," the town said in a Facebook post. "They are located at the end of the path next to the Dog Park."
