Changes To Items Allowed At Transfer Station

GUILFORD, CT — Waste Motor Oil and Antifreeze will no longer be accepted for recycling at the Transfer Station because PCB contaminants have been found at other facilities and the vendor will not pick up oil. Waste Oil and Antifreeze can be disposed at HAZWASTE Central on Sargent Drive on Saturdays from May 5 until October 27. There will be no charge for disposal.
