GUILFORD, CT — As spring approaches, it might be time to take a look at the Guilford Parks & Recreation Department's seasonal program brochure.

The beginning of the brochure includes a message from new Parks & Rec. Director Pam Gery, a longtime Guilford resident who recently took over for the now-retired Rick Maynard.

"My dedication lies in ensuring that our parks remain vibrant hubs of activity, providing a di- verse range of programs and events that cater to the needs of our community," said Gery, who was previously the Parks & Rec. director in Darien.

"I encourage you to carefully review this brochure, which showcases the dedicated efforts of our department staff in organizing a range of programs for all ages, along with exciting bus trips, and seasonal events that your entire family will enjoy," she added. "I am genuinely looking forward to collaborating with residents, community organizations, and local businesses to make Guilford’s parks and recreational spaces, even more dynamic and accessible."
