The Shoreline Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the first Guilford Chowder Challenge for a Cause from noon – 3pm on Saturday, September 27, rain or shine.
The cost is $10 per ticket. The first 600 ticket holders will be provided with a bag, bottle of water and a ballot to vote for the chowder of their choice. All chowder tastings are in stores/restaurants located around the Guilford Green.
Each participating chef chooses a local charity to partner with. The chef receiving the most votes will receive a check for the charity of his/her choice, in addition to a trophy that they may keep on display for one year.
Winners will be revealed at the Guilford Moorings between 3:30 – 4:00pm.
