Christopher’s Salon Holding Hat/Mitten and Toy Drives, and a Visit from Santa

GUILFORD, CT — Christopher’s Salon, 1575 Boston Post Road, is holding a hat/mitten drive to benefit local Shoreline families through 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10. New hats and mittens are needed for children, teens and adults and may be brought to the salon during business hours, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. Everyone who donates will be entered into a raffle to win a Christopher’s gift bag filled with products.

The salon is also holding a toy drive through 3 p.m. Dec. 17 to benefit the Yale Toy Closet. New, unwrapped toys for ages newborn to 18 can also be brought to the salon during business hours. Anyone who donates will be entered into another raffle for a product prize bag.

To round out the festivities, the salon is holding a Christmas party, open to all, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, with a visit from Santa from 11 to 1.
