Clean Gently Used Clothing Donations Needed

Guilford’s senior volunteers in the Gently Used Clothing group have been available every Tuesday and Friday during the month of October receiving, sorting, reasonably pricing, and carefully storing people’s generous donations of clean, gently used clothing (no shoes or tees), in order to sell them at Guilford’s 2014 Annual Senior Holiday Bazaar, to raise funds for important senior and community activities throughout the year.

NOTE: the VERY LAST day of collection will be Tuesday, October 21st!

Please bring in your clean, gently used clothing to Guilford’s Community Center, 32 Church Street, by 12:00 noon Tuesday October 21st.

Time to lean closets!

In addition to the impressive used clothing offerings at the Bazaar, which will be held on October 25 from 9 to 2 at the Community Center, there will be a vast variety of any-age, any-gender merchandise available for purchase - hand-crafted, sewn, knitted, crocheted creations; used books; costume jewelry: raffles; as well as baked goods. Additionally Guilford’s Commemorative 375th birthday breakfast and lunch will also be available for a fee.

Last day for clothing donations - October 21 at noon.
