Come To The Bike Safety Rodeo At Guilford High School

GUILFORD, CT — A "Bike Safety Rodeo" will take place at Guilford High School on May 18.

The event is slated to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and feature bike safety checks and tune ups, helmet fittings, road safety information and demonstrations, a bike obstacle course and the chance to touch a fire truck.

Geared toward kids up to 10 years of age, attendees can pre-register for a chance to win a raffle prize. To pre-register, email your child's name, age, parent name and contact info to jakoberm@ci.guilfor.ct.us.

Children should bring their bikes and helmets.

The Shoreline Greenway Trail, Guilford Team, along with the Clinton Police Department, Guilford Police Department and North Branford Police Department are presenting the event.

There is a rain date of May 19.
