Coronavirus In CT: ECSU Faculty Member Tests Positive

Eastern Connecticut State University officials said Sunday that a faculty member who they do not name has tested positive for COVID-19.

WILLIMANTIC, CT — A faculty member at staff at Eastern Connecticut State University has tested positive for COVID-19, the school announced Sunday.

"The University has been advised that a faculty member has tested positive for the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Federal health privacy law prohibits the University from releasing the name of the person involved.

We ask all students, faculty, and staff to continue to self-monitor their own health while practicing social distancing and healthy personal hygiene as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention..."
