An event on racism and religious intolerance was canceled, Guilford schools said, due to the governor's note to avoid large gatherings.
GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Public Schools March 11 Community Conversation: Understanding Racism, Religious Intolerance, and Prejudice is canceled.
In accordance with the recommendations from Gov. Ned Lamont’s office, as informed by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, large gatherings should be avoided, when possible, due to the potential spread of COVID-19.
We look forward to announcing a new date for this important conversation in the near future.
