Date Announced For 4th Annual Disc Golf Tournament In Guilford

GUILFORD, CT — The fourth annual disc golf tournament in Guilford will take place on Saturday, May 18, and proceeds will benefit Meals On Wheels.

The beginner/intermediate level tournament will be run by Meals On Wheels in cooperation with Guilford Parks & Recreation. The event will be held at the Rick Maynard Disc Golf Course in Bittner Park, 1346-1450 Durham Road, with a shotgun-style start at 11 a.m.

To participate, the cost is $30 which includes a disc and score card, and a round of golf. Snacks and coffee will be provided, and there will be prizes for first place in each category and closest to the pin.

Those interested in participating can come as a single or play in a group. Attendees will be paired with similarly skilled players.

Space is limited to 72 particpants (four per hole), and pre-registration is required.
