Date Announced For Start Of Paving Operations In Guilford: See Where
Residents should expect delays and road closures, Guilford said in an announcement Tuesday.
GUILFORD, CT — Guilford announced on Tuesday it will be milling and paving several roads in town beginning the week of May 12.
Work will take place on Seaside Avenue, Old Whitfield Street and New Whitfield Street. The work schedule will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is anticipated to last a week depending on the weather, the town said.
Residents should expect delays and road closures. The town is asking those who do not live on the specified roads to avoid using them during the duration of the work.

Meeting minutes from the April 7 Board of Selectmen meeting show the total project cost is $305,612, with $205,521 from from the state's Local Capital Improvement Program (LOCIP). Additionally, $89,500 is coming from CT Water, and the remaining $10,590 is from capital funds.
