Dates Set For Annual Guilford Budget Meeting, Referendum
Here's information on the upcoming budget meeting and budget referendum in Guilford.
GUILFORD, CT — Budget season is moving along, as the town has announced the dates for the annual budget meeting and the budget referendum.
On March 5, the Board of Finance approved a budget for FY2026-2027 totaling $129,413,203.
The spending plan was reached after the board cut the Board of Education's budget by $300,000 and the town budget by $450,000. If approved, there would be a proposed mill rate of 28.78.

The annual budget meeting is scheduled for April at 7:30 p.m. at Guilford High School.
The budget referendum is set for April 21. Voting will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at all polling locations.
