End the 'R' Word Campaign at Guilford High School
Students signed the pledge on Tuesday not use the "R" word.

Guilford students joined with Senator Ted Kennedy, State Representative Sean Scanlon, Principal Rick Misenti, State Comptroller Kevin Lembo (not pictured) and the entire school community to launch their annual awareness campaign to end the use of the “R” word - retarded. “Even If You Don’t Mean It, It Still Hurts” is the message for this year’s campaign.
Members of the student body and staff will be signing the pledge to End The “R” Word in the lobby of Guilford High School throughout the week. For more about this national campaign, please visit here.
