Considine nominated Gaudet for "not only doing a spectacular job in fulfilling her duties with the Fire and Communications Departments, interacting daily with the public that visits the firehouse, as well as handling many calls from residents."
She has also trained the part-time secretary to process payroll, "which is very complicated, and take care of all fire department expenses," it was noted.

Most notably, approximately two years ago, she attended several classes lasting over a month to become a Certified Ambulance Coder. As a result, she became solely responsible for exceeding the 2021-2022 revenue budget by 22 percent, or nearly $200,000. And this fiscal year, she is already ahead of projected revenue by over 12 percent.
“Erin is one of the most dedicated, hardworking employees that I have had the pleasure to work with. Erin’s work ethic is outstanding in always putting in the time to ensure ambulance billing is current," Considine said. "During COVID, she came to work daily and assisted the Fire Department Command Staff with daily operations and getting important messages to all our members.”
Erin began as a part-time secretary for the Fire Department in 2014 and has served since 2018 in her current full-time capacity.
“Erin is the type of employee that any supervisor would consider themselves lucky to have to work for them," Considine said.
She received an Employee Recognition Award certificate as well as a gift card from Hoey, in
recognition of her achievements.
