The Fresh Market is Looking to Hire for 90 Positions
The speciality grocer is hosting a Career Open House next month for its newest location in Guilford.
The Guilford Commons shopping center is starting to take shape and the complex is expected to open in the fall and will be anchored by The Fresh Market, which is a speciality grocery store.
And as a sign that the project is coming right along, The Fresh Market is beginning to hire for 90 new jobs in its new Guilford location.
The Fresh Market will be hosting a Career Open House on Wednesday, September 2 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the BEST WESTERN PLUS North Haven Hotel located at 201 Washington Avenue, North Haven. Available positions range from Assistant Deli Managers, Assistant Front End Managers, Assistant Grocery Specialist, Assistant Produce Managers, Bakers, Bulk Specialist, Candy/Coffee Specialist, Cheese Specialist, Gift/Floral Specialist, Grocery Specialist, Meat Cutters, Seafood Specialist to Store Receiving Specialist.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with The Fresh Market’s hiring team to learn about the workplace culture and experience the difference of The Fresh Market way of life.

Other businesses lined up for Guilford Commons include a Michaels craft store, a DSW, a Ulta Beauty and a Bed, Bath & Beyond, the New Haven Register reports.
About half of the space or 75,000-square-feet has been leased, and a restaurant is also possible for the site.
