Grand Opening Event Scheduled for Guilford Commons

DDR Corp. and Guilford town officials will conduct a grand opening event on November 5 at the newly opened Guilford Commons shopping center.

Members of the public are welcome to attend. The event will consist of a ribbon-cutting ceremony and brief remarks from DDR and local officials. Complimentary cupcakes and small gifts will be available to members of the community who attend, while supplies last.

The initial retail lineup at Guilford Commons consists of: Fresh Market, Bed Bath & Beyond, Michaels, DSW, Ulta and Charming Charlie.

In conjunction with the event, DDR will make a $5,000 donation to the Guilford Food Bank.

Who: Joe Mazza, first selectman; Brian McGlone, economic development coordinator; and Jim Grafmeyer, vice president of development with DDR, will deliver brief remarks to commemorate the occasion.

When: The event begins at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2015, and will be followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony shortly thereafter.

Where: Guilford Commons is located at 1919 Boston Post Road near exit 57 off of Interstate 95.
