Guilford 2019 Budget, Bonding Referendum Results
Nearly, 3,000 Guilford residents voted on Tuesday.

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford budget referendum and ballot questions were all approved by voters Tuesday night, town officials said Wednesday morning. The town budget for next year was approved by a 1,772 to 1,164 vote.
Question 2 passed 2,052 to 881, Question 3 was approved 1,569 to 1,352 and Question 4 was also approved by a tally of 2,152 to 782.
The approved Guilford budget for fiscal 19-20 will be $100.6 million, according to the Guilford Courier and that increases spending by 3.22 percent. The tax rate will increase by 2.41 percent.

The bonding projects approved include: $3.5 million for capital upgrades to town facilities and equipment purchases and another $3 million for HVAC improvements at A.W. Cox School and window replacements at Melissa Jones School, the Guilford Courier reports.
