"Dueling Bartenders" featured at the Guilford Art Center 4th Annual Art of the Cocktail Fundraiser

Celebrate creative mixology and fine art while supporting the arts!

Join Guilford Art Center for its fourth annual cocktail party fundraiser, The Art of the Cocktail, on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 6-9 pm, celebrating creative mixology and fine art.  This year’s theme is a “winter wonderland”.

For this event, Helen Blanchard, bar manager of Moxie in Madison, and Jared Schulefand, owner of Home in Branford, will mix ”dueling” cocktails.  Guests will enjoy delicious finger food, music and a silent auction of cocktail napkin-sized art, restaurant offerings and more.  The Art Center gallery will be featuring its Faculty Exhibition, a show of works by instructors who work in all media.

Helen Blanchard, well-versed in craft brews and spirits, serves an imaginative cocktail menu that complements Moxie’s seasonal fare.  Schulefand, owner of Home, has worked in all aspects of the restaurant business.  is Home menu focuses on comfort food “with a twist”, featuring products by local purveyors.
