Total nighttime snow accumulation of 10 to 16 inches possible.

Tuesday Snow with widespread blowing snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. High near 24. Wind chill values between zero and 5. Blustery, with a north wind 21 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches possible.

According to the National Weather Service, a blizzard warning is in effect from Jan. 26, 1 p.m. until Jan. 28, 12 a.m. A coastal flood watch is in effect from Jan. 27 3 a.m. until 7 a.m. All unnecessary travel is discouraged beginning this afternoon.

While 1-3 inches of snow is expected to accumulate during the day, the heavy snow along with strong winds is expected to start tonight. The NWS is predicting an additional possible accumulation of 9-13 inches of snow tonight.
