The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

I am committed to the social health and well-being of the students of Guilford.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

It is my hope that there are few differences between me and my fellow candidates, regardless of party affiliation. We all are constantly looking to improve the education system in Guilford, beyond its current high standard, focusing on the health and safety of our students. As a lifelong resident, I do have a keen understanding of life in Guilford, the town's history, and the expectations of our residents. As a father of two children in GPS, I have an inside perspective on the ongoings of our students and educators.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

As Vice President & President of The Guilford Center for Children, I gained invaluable knowledge of the relationships between students, educators, administrators and parents. During my tenure at GCC, I spearheaded projects ranging from school security, tuition assistance, staff benefits, and fundraising.

The best advice ever shared with me was …

"Do not listen with the intent to reply, but with the intent to understand." As a member of the Board of Education I look forward to listening to our residents and understanding everyone's perspectives and priorities.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
