The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Affordability. As a member of the Board of Finance, I have worked hard to find a balance when crafting budgets between fiscal responsibility and protecting the services that make Guilford special. Overall, by creating lean budgets, we can make Guilford more affordable for both young families like mine just starting out and seniors whose generation made this town what it is and raised their families here.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

As the youngest member of the Board of Finance, I bring an important and fresh perspective to the board and try to encourage my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to think more long-term about our finances and the future of the town as opposed to just looking at the budget before us.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Running a non-profit taught to do more with less and I try and bring that approach to the Board of Finance.

The best advice ever shared with me was …

My dad was an officer in the Air Force and growing up he always told my brother and I there were two words that were not in our vocabulary and those were "I can't." I try and bring that mentality to everything I do and try and figure out how to solve any problem or situation that comes up with that advice in mind.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
