Guilford Chef to Open New Restaurant in Seymour

GUILFORD--One Guilford chef is planning a new culinary venture.

Peter Hamme, the previous chef at Stone House Restaurant in Guilford, bought the old Lake House Restaurant in Seymour, according to The New Haven Register.

Hamme, in the culinary business for over three decades, is renovating the restaurant and revamping the menu. He will open his new Stone's Throw restaurant later this spring, The Register reports.

The restaurant is located at 337 Roosevelt Drive and has a boat launch with docks, according to The New Haven Register.
