Guilford Design Committee Likes the Look of a Proposed Retail Development
The retail project is one step closer to being approved.
The Design Review Committee likes what its seen regarding DDR Corp.’s plan to construct a 135,000-square-foot shopping center at the Guilford commons site, the New Haven Register reports.
The developer pitched an improved design, which eliminates the big box feel that large-scale developments are known for, reports Sean Carlin, of the Register.
The developer also pitched the inclusion of a landscape berm and a pedestrian walkway, the Register reports.
