GUILFORD, CT - A new Niche study is out and Guilford schools made the grade.

The district earned an A grade overall and all top marks for academics, teachers, college prep, clubs, and health and safety. The district earned a C grade for diversity.

Overall, students in the district have an average 76 percent reading proficiency and a 82 percent math proficiency.

With an 12 to 1 student teacher ratio, educators in the district earn an average of $71,000 and the district spends $23,027 per student.
