Guilford To Enact On-Street Parking Ban With More Snow On The Way
On-street parking is not allowed during impending winter storms and while snow removal operations are ongoing, the town said.

GUILFORD, CT — An on-street parking ban will be in effect in Guilford from 7p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, through 12 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9.
According to an announcement, on-street parking is not allowed during impending winter storms and while snow removal operations are ongoing.
The Guilford Police Department will ticket and tow vehicles if they are in violation and impede snow removal operations of the Department of Public Works.

Residents are also reminded to clear their sidewalks within 24 hours of a snowstorm. Hydrants should also be kept clear, and snow should not be plowed into roadways.
Snow is expected to fall beginning Saturday night and go into Sunday. Around 4-8 inches of snow is expected in Guilford, the National Weather Service says.
