Guilford First Responders To Participate In CT Law Enforcement Torch Run
Here's when the torch is scheduled to arrive in Guilford.
GUILFORD, CT — Guilford police are set to participate in the annual CT Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics athletes across CT.
The torch is scheduled to hit the Guilford/Madison town line on Boston Post Road around 12:23 p.m., according to police.
Athletes, officers and members of the Guilford Fire Department will continue on Boston Post Road and reach the Branford town line about an hour later.

"No roads will be closed, but plan ahead if you want to avoid traffic delays on southbound Route 1," police said. But, if you want to cheer us all on (which we highly encourage), our Special Olympics athletes, Guilford police officers, and Guilford firefighters always appreciate the support!"
