Guilford Hair Cuttery Holds Fundraiser for Roses for Autism

As part of grand opening festivities, Hair Cuttery will donate five percent of all proceeds from November 20th – December 18th.

As part of Hair Cuttery’s grand opening festivities the salon will hold a month-long fundraiser to benefit Roses for Autism. From November 20th to December 18th, Hair Cuttery will donate five percent of all proceeds to the charity. The new salon is located at 1919 Boston Post Road in the Guilford Commons.

Roses for Autism was founded in 2009 by Ability Beyond, a cutting-edge non-profit organization providing community based services for people with disabilities throughout Connecticut and New York. In conjunction with the Pinchbeck family and local parents, Roses for Autism employs individuals living with Autism and provides career training and mentorship to transition age youth. At Roses for Autism, youth experience what it’s like to have their very first job and work in all areas of the business, from the greenhouse to e-commerce. With the encouragement of a dedicated team, these youth discover their unique strengths and interests while learning the necessary social and professional skills to achieve meaningful employment and personal success. A check will be presented to the organization at a ribbon cutting ceremony on January 12th.
