In the letter the recent graduate says the school is "not a safe space for children when it comes to bullying."

GUILFORD, CT — Kaileigh Roby said she "will not be silent" concerning her allegations that Guilford High School administrators failed to protect victims of bullying and even insinuated that the victims were instigators.

"Guilford High School is not a safe space for children when it comes to bullying." Roby, who is now a college freshman, wrote in a letter to the New Haven Register, which has gone viral and has been the news publications most read story of the week.

In the letter, she condemns school administrators for failing to make the High School a "safe learning environment." On countless times, Roby said victims of bullying never received help. Roby told Fox 61 that an administrator, who investigated her complaint, essentially blamed her and insinuated she started the trouble. She said she never saw a bully disciplined.

"It is your duty to stop bullying at the source. Why don’t you? Why do you make the victims out to be actors, and the bullies to be no problem at all?" Roby wrote in her letter to the New Haven Register. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
