From Guilford Keeping Society: At its annual meeting on November 15th at the Medad Stone Tavern, the Board of the Guilford Keeping Society, along with a number of Members and guests, expressed their thanks and bid a fond farewell to outgoing President, Winnie Seibert as she reached the end of her six year term limit.

Incoming president Robert Hartmann, Jr., praised Winnie for her many accomplishments during her term in office. “Winnie’s non-stop commitment to GKS has resulted in great improvements to our museums’ infrastructure, vibrancy and role in the community. With the inspiration and ability of curator Pat Lovelace, GKS is more active as an education resource than ever. Winnie has left a lasting legacy. She will be missed as our President.”

The program continued with a presentation by Dennis Culliton, historian and social studies teacher, entitled ‘Moses and the Witness Stones – Enslaved in Guilford’. Learn more at www.guilfordkeepingsociety.com
