Guilford Meals On Wheels Provides Holiday Meals For 90
Guilford Meals on Wheels, with the help of businesses, volunteers, families and students, brought some holiday joy, a great meal to dozens.
Guilford Interfaith Volunteer's Meals on Wheels program again brought meals and joy to many folks this Christmas.
Director Christi Burton said that close to 90 meals were delivered.
And, she wanted to thanks the following:
- Wonderful kitchen crew headed up by Larry Santamaria for a delicious meal of pot roast and also to Larry for allowing the use of the VFW for bag preparation.
- The Bo’vee family for creating crafts again this year.
- The Guilford elementary schools for the cards and the decorated hot cocoa treats
- Page Hardware for hosting & the customers for participating in the adopt a senior Christmas tree, so the seniors received gifts in their Christmas bags
- Cynthia Pullman for knitting her beautiful blankets and donating them
- The White House florist for the beautiful roses.
- Stop & Shop for the delicious fruit
