Guilford Memorial Day Parade Set For Monday, VFW Picnic Also Slated

GUILFORD, CT —Those who made the ultimate sacrifice will be honored on Memorial Day in Guilford.

On Monday, May 30, the Memorial Day Parade, will begin at 10 a.m. at Alder Brook Cemetery, and after a brief ceremony, will proceed to the Guilford Town Green for the main program.

"Please join us in remembering those that gave their lives defending our freedom," notes VFW Post 7666.

Following the event will be a Memorial at noon Day picnic at the VFW Post, 59 Mill Road. All are welcome.

Monday night from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., also at the VFW Post, patriotic music will be provided by Tuxedo Junction and the Sounds of Swing.
