Guilford Native Nick Fradiani Receives High Marks From American Idol Season 15 Judges
We'll let you know how you can vote for Nick up to 80 times.

Update: Nick Fradiani took to the Idol stage around 8:50 p.m. and performed Ed Sheeran’s #1 hit “Thinking Out Loud.”
He received rave reviews for his performance from the crowd and of course the celebrity judges.
Keith Urban said Fradiani picked the perfect song to sing for his voice and that he loved that he both sang and played the guitar.

Jennifer Lopez said she doesn’t want any of the guys to go home and Nick’s performance was one of the best of the evening.
Harry Connick Jr. praised Nick’s performance as well.

Nick said his current opportunity is amazing and he thanked everyone for the opportunity.

Original post: One thing is clear, Nick Fradiani is a very one popular man, and several towns are claiming him as their own.
Nick, who currently lives in West Haven, grew up in East Haven and Guilford, and formed a band, Beach Avenue in Milford, is attracting new fans by the boatload these days.
And it’s no surprise, as Nick has been spending the past few weeks appearing before more than 10 million viewers on American Idol Season 15.
Tonight at 8 p.m. you can watch Nick perform live on Fox, and of course make sure to vote for him once voting commences at 9 p.m. You can vote for Nick here at 9 p.m.
Nick has made it to the top 24 of American Idol and tonight he will perform live along with 11 other male finalists.
Nick Fradiani posted the following on social media on Tuesday.
“Tonight at 8:00 on FOX! The Top 12 guys will be performing in Detroit for America’s vote. There will be cuts made next week so I’ll really need everyone’s support with voting tonight. You have all been incredible. I can feel you all behind me! Follow this link to learn how you can vote for me up to 80 times!,” Fradiani wrote on Facebook.
Nick’s bandmates in Beach Avenue are urging everyone to vote for their lead singer.
“Make sure to watch American Idol tomorrow night for our lead singer Nick Fradiani, as he competes in the Top 24 to move onto the next round. Fan voting will be starting up this week so now is the time he needs all of your votes and support!” Beach Avenue wrote on Facebook.
Despite rehearsing for his big live performance, Nick still found time to speak directly to East Haven students at his former school, Momauguin School. East Haven officials declared Wednesday as ‘Nick Fradiani Day’ in “honor of Nick’s amazing journey and ahead of what we expect will be another exhilarating performance from Nick on Wednesday night,” said Joseph Maturo Jr. earlier this week.

Last week Nick received lavish praise for his performance of David Gray’s “Babylon” from celebrity judges Harry Connick Jr. and Jennifer Lopez.
“It’s clear how experienced you are, especially in comparison to some of the young ones,” Connick said according to Fox CT
.Jennifer Lopez added, “I just like you.”
This isn’t Fradiani’s first time at the reality TV rodeo. He auditioned for America’s Got Talent last year with his Milford band, Beach Avenue, bandmates, performing original songs.
His band was eliminated at the beginning of the competition but that didn’t dampen Fradiani’s spirits — he’s back in the reality TV game again, this time going solo on American Idol.
