GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Parks, Recreation and Senior Department has launched a community needs assessment.

"This survey will provide valuable data for the department to develop a strategic plan and focus efforts on maintaining the best programs, parks and facilities," a post on the town's website says.

The Parks, Recreation and Senior Department is under the leadership of Pam Gery, a longtime Guilford resident who became the director earlier this year after nearly nine years in Darien.
