Guilford Police Are Hiring, With Starting Salary Nearly $74K

GUILFORD, CT —Guilford police are hiring. And the annual salary range is $73,486 to $88,254.

But, you must successfully complete the fall South Central Criminal Justice Administration of Connecticut officer testing process. The first test is a few weeks away.

Here's the 411 from the Guilford Police Department

• Applicants must complete the on-line registration/application for testing at PoliceApp.com. Registration for the SCCJA Police Officer examination process is open until September 19, 2022.

• The written examination is scheduled for September 21, 2022. The exact time and location are TBD.

• Oral examination date, time and location are TBD and applicants that successfully pass the written examination will be notified accordingly.

• Applicants must have obtained a valid CHIP card by October 23, 2022, to continue in the testing/application process.

• Applicants must successfully complete and pass all phases of this SCCJA examination process to be eligible for further consideration in the Guilford Police Department selection process.

• Salary range from $73,486.40 - $88,254.40
