GUILFORD, CT — Called the Guilford Police Citizen Satisfaction Survey, the questionnaire goes out to residents every two years.

Police said the goal is to see how folks feel about the department's overall performance, police officer performance and to "measure citizens’ perception of officers’ attitudes and behaviors." It also gauges citizen concerns for safety and lets people make suggestions for improvement.

The 20 question survey, with several of the questions optional, asks about things like people's interaction with officers, if folks feel safe in their neighborhood, if the Guilford Police Facebook page is helpful, and if police do a good job getting important information out, among other questions with answer options of 'yes,' 'no,' 'agree,' 'disagree' and the like.
