Guilford Police logs, May 7 - 13:May 8 Justin Taylor Kent, 18, of Nut Plains Road was charged with possession of a controlled substance near a school, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance near a school, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Devin Michael Zimmerman, 18, of Lake Avenue, was charged with second-degree forgery. May 9Dorie Ann Cruz, 42, of Lillian Street, North Branford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Members and friends from the St George community will be preparing their favorite family recipes and cultural specialties from around the globe, creating a evening filled with great food, fellowship and community spirit.

Chloe’s Closet is a division of Guilford Interfaith Volunteers (GIV) that began in March 2026 to provide pediatric medical equipment and support to children and families in need. Modeled after the success of Charlie’s Closet, the program helps families access essential equipment regardless of financial circumstances.
Chloe’s Closet was created in honor of Chloe Negron, who sadly passed away in January 2025 from a rare disease. Through Chloe’s legacy, the program aims to bring comfort, support, and hope to families facing difficult medical challenges while continuing GIV’s mission of “Neighbor Helping Neighbor.”
